Learn how to be pollinator- friendly at park event
Visit the New Ulm Pollinator Park at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 29, to learn how to prepare your space for pollinator plants.
Experts at the event will show the many ways to prepare a site for pollinators using landscape fabric, cardboard, mulch, old plywood, and plastic.
Visitors will be provided with a native plant listing of the best pollinator plants for the region and demonstrate how to plant pollinator seeds and plants.
Free pollinator seeds will be given out to participants, as well as a free guide on how to plant a prairie in five steps.
Also on the agenda is the dedication of the new Pollinator Park Little Library.
