NEW ULM — Sunday was the last day of New Ulm Medical Center’s mask drive, but new donations will still be accepted at the clinic entrance. With the possibility of a surge in coronavirus patients, NUMC has been seeking to increase its supply of protective masks for physicians and staff. NEW ULM — Supporting local has an additional name and face. The New Ulm Economic Development Authority has pledged grant money to widen the relief efforts of area businesses affected by COVID-19. Businesses that were directly impacted by Governor Walz’s Executive Orders 20-04 and 20-08 may now apply for $2500 grants per business affected.
