The newest friendly face you’ll see when shopping at Shoe Sensation is Meghan Murphy’s. Murphy took over as Store Manager in New Ulm about two months ago. Meghan has moved around Minnesota throughout her life but eventually found her way to the New Ulm area as her husband is from Gibbon. She previously held a management position with Dollar General.

Shoe Sensation is located in Supercenter Square at 1704 Westridge Road and sells a variety of shoes including athletic, work, and casual. The stores also offers online ordering with ship to store options. Murphy relayed that there are about 200 Shoe Sensation stores all throughout the Midwest, with 7 of those located in Minnesota. Murphy also included that Shoe Sensations are typically opened in mid-sized, underserved communities such as New Ulm, Hutchinson and Fairmont.

Meghan is in charge of daily operations and oversees six employees. Shoe Sensation is currently looking for an Assistant Store Manager as well. Murphy shared that Shoe Sensation will be partnering with the Brown County Humane Society for an adoption event at the store on September 26.

Meghan Murphy was welcomed as the New Manager of Shoe Sensation by the New Ulm Chamber of Commerce’s Willkommen Committee on August 8.
