Preferred Insurance hires newest agent

NEW ULM — Preferred Insurance in New Ulm announces it has hired its newest agent, Nick Metzker.

Metzker recently moved to New Ulm from Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin with his wife Meghan and two

children Jaxton and Quinn. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota – Twin

Cities in 2009 and upon graduation, launched his sales and insurance career as an Insurance and

Denn

Financial Solutions agent. Soon afterward, Metzker enjoyed career progression on the company side of the

industry as a Sales and Marketing Manager helping consult, advise, market, and grow over 2,000

independent agencies in Indiana, Iowa, and Wisconsin.

Outside of work, Metzker enjoys spending time with

his family and is an avid sports fan, as well as enjoying spending time outdoors playing golf, and at the

family cabin in Northern Wisconsin.

Denn promoted to Executive Vice President

NEW ULM — Citizens Bank Minnesota is pleased to announce the promotion of Mark Denn to Executive Vice President. Denn will take over the day to day management of the bank on January 1, 2019. Current bank President and CEO Lou Geistfeld has announced his plans to retire at the end of 2019 at which time Denn will assume those responsibilities.

Denn is a 1987 graduate of Madelia High School, a 1992 graduate of the University of Minnesota, Morris and a 2003 graduate of the Graduate school of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. He has been the manager of the bank’s office in LaSalle, MN since he started with the bank in 2000. In addition to his banking career, Denn operates a corn/soybean farm near Madelia and has served on the Madelia Fire Department for 19 years, the past several years as its Fire Chief.

Citizens Bank Minnesota has its home office in New Ulm and branch offices in Lafayette, Lakeville and LaSalle. Total assets as of June 30, 2018 were $389 million.

Windings launches redesigned website

NEW ULM – Windings, Inc. announces the launch of a new website designed to enhance user experience. Featuring expanded content, a more intuitive site structure and easy to use application data forms, the new site better meets customer search requirements and aligns with online presence expectations to enhance customer value.
