NEW ULM — A new real estate agent is making southwest Minnesota home. Bryce McVicker, Whitetail Properties land specialist, relocated to Sanborn where he and his wife Kristina moved home to her family’s farm.

McVicker grew up in Western Nebraska where he shared his time between raising black angus cattle in the Sandhills and hunting Canada geese on the North Platte River. He spent summers on the family ranch where his love for livestock, farming, and the outdoors sprouted.

McVicker went to college at South Dakota State University where he earned a Wildlife and Fisheries degree. For the last seven years he lived in South Dakota where he worked for the South Dakota Game, Fish, and Parks and his wife Kristina was an Ag Loan Officer. McVicker will specialize in selling tillable and recreational property across 16 counties in southwest Minnesota. Living in Redwood County, if only for a couple months, has diversified his agriculture background even further. Raising cattle and small grain in Nebraska differs vastly from the row crops and feeder pigs that consume his free time today working alongside his in-laws.
