Bill Otis re-elected to Minnesota Telecom Alliance Board

NEW ULM — Bill Otis, CEO of NU-Telecom, has been elected to his second three-year term on the Minnesota Telecom Alliance Board of Directors. The MTA Board of Directors is a 10-member panel made up of telecom leaders from throughout Minnesota. Otis represents one of the five largest MTA member companies.

“The continued success and growth of MTA only happens because we have dedicated and talented people like Bill Otis to serve on our board,” said Brent Christensen, MTA president and CEO. “Bill has truly made telecom in Minnesota and neighboring states his life’s work, serving the people of his region through myriad changes and challenges. To have his institutional knowledge and experience on the board for another three years is a great honor.”

Otis is the former board chair of Midwest Wireless and of Hector Communications Corporation. He has also been a board member of United States Telephone Association and of OPASTCO, an organization which merged into NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association.
