NEW ULM — There’s a new interim senior pastor at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in New Ulm, and the Willkommen Committee stopped by to welcome him! Pastor Gene Alms is an intentional interim pastor. He spends between 12-15 months with parishes throughout southwestern Minnesota and helps them transition from the past to the future. Though he loves learning about history, his passion is visioning the future and helping congregations through transition times between pastors. Pastor Gene and his wife Denise live near Cambria and they have seven grown children.
