Moon Tree Services LLC offers yoga classes and mental health counseling. Psychotherapy openings for individuals, couples, and families with a variety of concerns and specializing in treatment of children with traumatic experiences. Freeman joins American Family Insurance, Brian McCabe Agency

NEW ULM — American Family Insurance, Brian McCabe Agency in New Ulm,  has added Garrett Freeman to the team as Licensed Sales Specialist in New Ulm. He is currently licensed to sell Property/Casualty and Life/Health insurance in Minnesota.

Freeman is a 1999 graduate of New Ulm Senior High School. He was previously employed by Hy-Vee Foods for the last 15 years, most recently serving the New Ulm store as Produce Manager since 2009. Freeman and his wife Katie (Hofmeister) live in New Ulm. In his free time he enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing along with spending time with his family and friends. Freeman has sung for Syttende Mai, weddings and funerals and he can be found many weekends singing karaoke. Garrett enjoys giving back to the community and currently is a volunteer with Special Olympics and Ducks Unlimited here in New Ulm.

Rodewald doing internship

in Chiropractic Medicine

NEW ULM — Cody Rodewald is doing his internship in Chiropractic Medicine at New Ulm Chiropractic at 117 S. Broadway.

Rodewald is a 2008 graduate of New Ulm High School and a 2013 graduate of Minnesota State University Mankato. He graduates from Palmer College of Chiropractic in February.

Rodewald was a member of the varsity football, hockey, and track teams while attending New Ulm High School, as well as other numerous academic clubs. While at Minnesota State University, he was a member of the National Biological Honor Society. Once he completes this internship, Rodewald will graduate in February with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College in Davenport, Iowa.

Rodewald’s duties while in the office will be conducting numerous tasks such as taking digital X-rays, postural assessments, and adjusting patients. Rodewald says  he is “very excited to work at a tremendous place with such great people. With Dr Hawkins’ 33 years of experience, it is an honor to be able to do my internship here in New Ulm. It will be a great learning experience for me.”
