Late into Friday evening, the Minnesota Valley Lutheran (MVL) speech team competed at their section tournament.

There were seven total entries in the tournament, and one member of the team, Claire Woller, made it to the final round. In that round of extemporaneous reading, Claire earned 3rd place, qualifying for state for the third time. On Friday, April 25th, she will attend the state tournament in Shakopee. This will be Claire’s final high school speech meet, marking the end of a long and successful speech career.
