Knight members include:  Tim Rahe, Zach Kaiser, Joel Leonard and Mario DeSouza.  

The New Ulm Knights of Columbus organization distributed children’s and adult winter coats at Cathedral of the Holy Trinity on N. State Street.  One of the organizers stated “we had a nice crowd of families right at 10:00a.m. but have more coats to give out.”  There are over 400 members of the Knights of Columbus in the area and “Coats for Kids” has long been a project of the group.  Through a grant from the national Knights, the New Ulm contingent was able to purchase 48 coats and receive an additional 48 new coats. Donated coats were also available. Mario DeSouza commented that “Minnesota is the 3rd highest state in coats given out and 11,000 coats will get distributed this year throughout the state.”
