Brown County Sheriff’s Office

• Received an animal complaint on the 20000 block of CR 2, North Star Township at 12:01 a.m. June 13. A caller reported hearing gunshots. A deputy found a deceased rottweiler dog near CR 2. The dog was transported to a Springfield veterinarian. The sheriff’s office is investigating the incident.
