Two Sleepy Eye students have qualified for the state MathCounts competition.

Kiara Murphy (Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s School) qualified for the state MathCounts competition by placing second out of 73 regional competitors on Feb. 3 in Marshall. Kayden Klein (Sleepy Eye Public School) qualified for the state MathCounts competition by placing third out of 70 regional competitors on Feb. 17. Both students will compete March 11-12 in Plymouth.
