Bloodmobile collects 140 units
NEW ULM — The Red Cross Bloodmobile held its second day of collecting blood at Vogel Fieldhouse at the New Ulm Rec Center Thursday.
The bloodmobile collected 140 units of blood, zooming past its second day goal of 116 units.
Gallon pins were given to Doreen Britz, 11 gallons, and Joel Fromm, who has given a total of 15 gallons of blood over the years.
The Bloodmobile will continue collecting blood today, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Vogel Fieldhouse. Appointments are still available.
