NEW ULM — Luna Izabella Perez-Lopez became the first child born at New Ulm Medical Center in 2022.
Weighing in at 4 lbs,10.8 oz, she was born She was born at 7:38 a.m., Jan. 1, to parents Marisol Lopez and Leonel Perez of St. James. This was the couples’ first child. Lopez said she would like two more children.
Luna’s was born earlier than expected. The happy couple was not expecting to have a baby on the first of the year.
