Support for ProMusica

The New Ulm Area Foundation (NUAF) awarded a $3,000 grant to ProMusica MN — the parent organization of Summit Avenue Music Series. NUAF Executive Director John Illikman said the NUAF has four pillars: arts, education, economics and historic preservation. This grant would met two of their pillars with arts and education. The money will be used to sponsor the 2021-2022 New Ulm Chamber Music concerts. ProMusica’s Artistic Director Bethel Balge said the Chamber Music series brings in the best musicians in the state to perform at Martin Luther College. ProMusica’s Executive Director Benji Inniger said the first performance of the new season is Feb. 6th with trumpeter Manny Laureano.
