NEW ULM — The New Ulm Area Foundation, Inc., announced the awarding of grants from its fall 2021 granting cycle.

The grants were augmented by money from the Dr. James and Jane Seifert Fund, and a gift from Carol and Roger Ryberg.

Grants totaling $35,500 were approved by the Board of Directors:

• $3,000 to Junior Achievement for Biz Town 2021-22

• $3,000 to ProMusica for New Ulm 2021-22 Concert Series

• $4,500 to New Ulm Park & Recreation Department for the German Park amphitheater shade structure

• $5,000 to State Street Theater Co. for “Ring of Kerry” and “Peter Pan” productions

• $20,000 to the capital campaign for the Career Technical Education (CTE) Center
