NU Forward hosts candlelight vigil

NEW ULM — In honor of the 44 people in Brown County and more than 8,000 Minnesotans who died due to COVID-19, MN Voices: Marching Forward hosts a candle light vigil beginning at 7 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 25 beginning at 1 N. Broadway, New Ulm.

“We will have a candlelight vigil to remind ourselves and others that there are actual humans behind those statistics,” read a MN Voices: Marching Forward Facebook post.

The group plans to have one individual represent each of the 44 people who died in Brown County. All those who want to honor lives lost are welcome.

Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations regarding distances must be observed.
