NEW ULM — On Friday, April 16, Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School participated in the 2A section tournament. The following students were in the top six in their categories: Caleb Tomhave, 5th in Original Oratory, Liliana Mohror, 6th in Original Oratory, Joseph Schroeder, 6th in Great Speeches, and Bethany Spike and Estrella Strackbein, 5th in Duo Interpretation. Emma Niebuhr won first place in Extemporaneous Reading and Nick Pleiss and Andy Muske won third place in Duo Interpretation and will compete at state on Saturday, April 24.
