The New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce Willkommen Committee welcomes Inspiration Child and Family Therapy at 514 7th St. N. into the New Ulm business community with a ribbon cutting Thursday. New Ulm City Council Les Schultz performs the snipping honors at the event with owner Karen Appel. Karen J Appel opened Inspirations Child & Family Therapy Center June 3, 2019. She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and also a Registered Play Therapist- Supervisor (RPT-S).

Appel said it has always been her career aspiration to open a private mental health practice in her hometown and to provide quality mental health services to the residents of New Ulm and the surrounding communities. She has over 20 years of experience working with children (as young as 3 years old), adolescents, adults, groups, and families. Karen is very passionate and excited about bringing her practice to a town and community she is so proud to be a part of. Most insurances will be accepted.
