NEW ULM — New Ulm is in a 3-year period of road construction that includes a new gateway into New Ulm, significant economic impact on businesses and residents and detour challenges for visitors, schools, etc.

On Friday, Nov. 16, the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Hot Topics Lunch on these projects at the New Ulm Country Club, noon to 1 p.m.. The cost of $10 includes lunch and is payable at the door.

Todd Kjolstad, Construction Project Supervisor from MnDOT District 7, will be on hand to give an update on the current status of the project and touch on some of the challenges of the past season. Detour details for the summer of 2019 will be discussed and there will be time for Q&A at the end of the Todd’s comments.
