SPRINGFIELD — Each year Bridging Brown County awards a Brown County resident with the Bridge Builder of the Year Award. This award is given to someone who exemplifies the organization’s mission to strengthen our community by bridging relationships of understanding and communication in Brown County. This year’s recipient is Maxine Meine from Springfield.

Maxine will be presented with the Bridge Builder of the Year Award at the Bridging Brown County Annual Networking Dinner on Thursday, Nov. 1. The event will be held at the Springfield Community Center with a social hour starting at 5:45 p.m. and dinner served at 6:30 p.m.

Along with the presentation of the award, there will be a silent auction, live auction and wine pull. Tickets for the dinner are $40 and are available at F&M Bank in Springfield, all SouthPoint Financial Credit Union locations, and the chamber offices in New Ulm, Sleepy Eye and Springfield or by e-mailing director@bridgingbrowncounty.org.
