NEW ULM — The New Ulm area Business and Retail Association announced a new campaign called “Gnome on the Road,” to help encourage supporting local businesses during New Ulm construction projects.

Karl the Konstruction Gnome will hide at a different Chamber of Commerce member business each week from Monday, June 11, through Sept. 1. Video clues as to where he is hiding will be posted each Monday on the New Ulm Chamber of Commerce Facebook page www.facebook.com/NewUlmAreaChamber.

To participate, find where Karl is hiding each week and snap a selfie with him, then post it in the comments under the weekly clue on the Facebook page. Each photo posted will be entered into a drawing for $20 in chamber dollars each week.

At the end of the 12 weeks, all photo entries will be entered into a grand prize drawing for $500 in chamber dollars. The winner of the grand prize will be announced on Sept. 5.
