The event was one of the highlights of Sleepy Eye’s Buttered Corn Days, which continues today with a variety of events, including a Tour de Corn 15 K bike race at 8 a.m., a Kids Tour de Corn at 9 a.m., a backyard Barbecue Rib contest and tasting from 1 to 4 p.m. at Allison Park, a Car Show and Cruise In downtown, from 1 to 5 p.m., a concert by the Schell’s Hobo Band from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in South Park, and the Grand Parade at 6 p.m.
