• Kristopher J. Dailey, 36, Brown County Jail, was Nova House, was charged with felony threats of violence Monday. According to court documents, New Ulm Police were dispatched to a New Ulm residence on Oct. 28 for a report that a client threatened a staff member that he wold get a gun and shoot them. At the scene, the victim identified the client who made the threatening statement as Dailey and he was walking to Kwik Trip for coffee. The victim said Dailey was not to leave the property.

The victim said Dailey approached her at the office and asked to go to the bank and get money. The victim said that was not an option as Dailey doesn’t have a local bank. In addition, the victim said Dailey told her that the “next time she looks at me, I am going to get a gun and shoot her in the face.”

The victim said Dailey returned to the office and asked a male staff member to walk with him to Kwik Trip to get coffee but the staff member refused to go due to a safety concern with Dailey. Staff said Bailey left the property and due to the threatening statement made to the victim, the unknown ability to obtain a firearm was a safety concern.

Dailey was located in the backyard with a Kwik Trip cup of coffee. He talked about why police were there and if police were able to obtain a direct line number and fax number o the Oval Office and President Trump. Dailey said he felt fine, was taking his medications and denied making statements about being threatening to anyone that morning.
