Comfrey Comets replace Mulligan Town Hall sign

COMFREY — The Comfrey Comets 4-H Club recently replaced the deteriorating Mulligan Township Town Hall sign with a new one.

The 4-H club submitted their sign replacement idea for the 2023 Helping Hands Award and were awarded $500 from to complete the project, according to the University of Minnesota Extension.

The project helped build relationships between 4-H club members and township board members and increased club interest among community youth and families. The 4-H’ers learned lifelong skills like design, carpentry and painting. The project provided opportunities for younger and older club members to team up and learn from each other.
