Molly Hennig of New Ulm has been named to the dean’s list at the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh.

To qualify for the honor roll on the UW Oshkosh campus, a student must take at least 12 credits and earn a grade-point average (GPA) of at least 3.3 (out of a possible 4.0). Those with a GPA of 3.75 or better qualify for the Dean’s List.

Megan Hietala of New Ulm was named to the Augsburg University Dean’s List for the fall 2018 semester. Megan is the daughter of Kitty and Jeff Hietala and is studying Music Therapy.

St. Cloud State University has named its 2018 fall semester dean’s list. To be eligible for the honor, students must have a grade point average of 3.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

Area students on the list include:

Morgan Attenberger, Gaylord, School of Public Affairs, Criminal Justice Studies, BA

Avery Stevens, Sleepy Eye, School of Health and Human Services, Recreation and Sports Management, BS

Kameron Trebesch, Sleepy Eye, School of Education, Elementary/K-6 Education, BS

St. Cloud State University is Minnesota’s second-largest university, with more than 15,000 students from 90 different nations. Students choose from more than 60 graduate study programs and more than 200 majors, minors and pre-professional programs that hold nearly every available national accreditation. The 100-acre campus is located about an hour northwest of Minneapolis along the banks of the Mississippi River.

St. Cloud State University graduated more than 700 students during Fall semester 2018.

Commencement ceremonies took place Friday, December 21, 2018.

Cassandra Kretsch, daughter of Dan and Shari Kretsch of New Ulm, has been selected to be on the School of Health Sciences Dean’s List for Fall 2018 at the University of South Dakota. This recognition is reserved for full-time students who achieve a GPA of 3.5 or above.

Alexus Kreft of Arlington was named to the President’s List at Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa. This academic honor is achieved by earning a perfect 4.0 GPA during the Fall 2018 semester at Drake.
