Carl and Dorothy Martens, left, and Dr. Robert and Carol Martens (right) are celebrating their wedding annivesaries with an open house on Sunday, Oct. 7, from 1 to 4 p.m. at New Ulm Country Club.

Carl and Dorothy (Bonderson) Martens of New Ulm were married 70 years ago on Oct. 3, 1948 in the home of the bride’s parents in New Ulm.

Dr. Robert and Carol (Halverson) Martens of Fairmont were married 65 years ago on Sept. 12, 1953 at the First Methodist Church in Lafayette.
