Free chronic pain workshop

Active Aging Programs, Catholic Charities of Southern MN is offering a free workshop on living with chronic pain. The workshop will be held at the New Ulm Senior Center meeting for six consecutive Wednesdays, 1-3 pm beginning, Wednesday, April 15. The small-group workshop is designed for adults who want to take charge of their ongoing health problems. These sessions use participation and mutual support to help manage conditions at a higher level, allowing individuals to remain active. New Ulm Police • Responded to a report at 7:19 p.m. Saturday of a 13-year-old New Ulm boy kicking and assaulting individuals at a respite house offering short-term care relief for caregivers of those with special needs. NEW ULM — At a time when the farming forecast appears dark with rising input costs, a couple rays of light are shining through the clouds. According to the USDA, fertilizer and nitrogen costs rose by a quarter to a third in the past couple weeks. Diesel prices have also risen sharply.
