Sleepy Eye Police • Responded to a physical domestic call at 6:27 p.m. Tuesday on the 200 block, 5th Ave. S.E. A 43-year-old Sleepy Eye man was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail for domestic assault of a 39-year-old Sleepy Eye woman. She did not seek medical attention and no damage was reported.

New Ulm Police • Responded to a one-vehicle crash on the 1500 block North Broadway at 8:04 a.m. Lucas Samuel Compton, 20, Bloomington, was driving a 2017 Subaru Outback northbound, lost control, went into the median, hitting a sign, then went back into the northbound lane and onto the curb on the east side of Broadway. A 2019 Honda Pilot driven by Oralia Lozoya, 61, New Ulm, was westbound on 8th Street North when it was struck by a 2014 GMC Sierra driven southbound by Dennis Michescu, 18, New Ulm. Lozoya had head and neck injuries. Both drivers wore seat belts. Redwood County Sheriff’s Office • Responded to a one-vehicle crash at 11:48 p.m. Tuesday on CSAH 7 near 400th, just north of Belview. Dinny Yang, Raymond, was driving a 1996 Toyota T100 northbound on CSAH 7, said he fell asleep behind the wheel, woke up, over-corrected, rolled twice and came to a rest in the ditch.
