New Ulm Police • Spoke with 63-year-old New Ulm woman at 3:59 a.m. Sunday who said she feels someone entered her adult daughter’s residence over the weekend without consent. Police are aware of mental health issues for the 63-year-old woman. New Ulm Police • Issued a no trespass order from McDonald’s to a 57-year-old New Ulm man at 1:11 p.m. Friday regarding prior incidents. A report was sent to the New Ulm City Attorney’s Office.

New Ulm Police • Took a dog bite report involving a 77-year-old New Ulm woman on the 900 block, Minnesota Street North at 10:27 a.m. Wednesday. The woman said she bitten on the left arm and leg but skin was not broken. The dog’s owner, a 51-year-old New Ulm man said the dog must have escaped from a kennel. A report was done for documentation. • Took a call from an Alabama woman at 7:26 p.m. Wednesday who was concerned about threats of violence on Facebook towards Brown County officials from a 43-year-old Mankato man. Investigation of suspicious Lake Crystal death leads police to NU

NEW ULM — The Brown, Lyron, Redwood and Renville County Emergency Response Unit (BLR-ERU) responded to a firearm incident in New Ulm Friday morning in connection to a suspicious death investigation in rural Lake Crystal. Thursday, Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office was alerted to an unresponsive woman located in a house north of Highway 60 in Lake Crystal. First responders arrived on the scene and confirmed she was dead and the circumstances surrounding her death were consider suspicious.
