NEW ULM – Park and Recreation received a $7,500 donations from the Realtor Association of Southern Minnesota for the new Dog Park shelter, located in south German Park.

Center and German St. intersection closed
The intersection of Center Street and German Street will be closed Wednesday and Thursday, October 23-24 for final bituminous paving along German Street. Construction on German Street began July 29. Crews have been working to replace road infrastructure dating back to 1906. The replacement work finished, crews have begun repaving German Street from Center to 3rd North.

Friends of the Library to hold book salesman
The Friends of the Library 2024 Used Book Sale will be Nov. 7-9 at the New Ulm Public Library. Friends of the Library members may shop early from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7. Membership can be renewed at the door. The public is invited to shop the sale from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8 and 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9. Fill a bog for $2 Saturday until noon. All remaining items will be free until close, but nominal monetary donations are welcome and appreciated.
