NU Garden Club meets Wednesday

NEW ULM - The next New Ulm Garden Club meeting will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 7 at the New Ulm airport. The guest speaker will be Terri Anderson from Valley Veggies near Mankato on Highway 68. Notice of water main flushing

NEW ULM -- Monday, May 5 the New Ulm Water Department will begin flushing water mains on Front Street. Tuesday, May 6 water main flushing will continue on Front Street and start on Valley Street. Flushing will be approximately between the hours of 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Residents should avoid laundering clothes when flushing is occurring in their neighborhood. It is advisable to allow about an hour after daily flushing for water to clear. If experiencing any discoloration after flushing, run water and it should clear up.
