Bieber continues strong start in win

MINNEAPOLIS — Shane Bieber struck out 13 in eight scoreless innings and the Indians got a two-run home run from Francisco Lindor to beat the Twins 2-0.

Bieber allowed just three hits in the game. The righthander has 27 strikeouts in his first two starts this season and hasn’t allowed a run yet this year. The 27 strikeouts are the most in the live ball era after the first two starts.

Jose Berrios lasted five innings and allowed two earned runs. Lindor’s home run in the third inning was his second of the year and gave Bieber the run support he needed.
