Arlington Raceway to host stock car shootout

ARLINGTON — The Geib Well & Water Sibley Co. Stock Car Shootout presented by Justice Brothers, one of the premier events of the season at Arlington Raceway, is set for Wednesday, July 29th during the Sibley County Fair. IMCA Stock cars will invade the track, drivers are expected to be from the upper midwest in the division as the drivers will be racing for over $30,000 in prize monies. SPRINGFIELD — The Sleepy Eye Legion Post 7 baseball team topped Springfield Post 257 on Thursday night by a score of 7-2 in legion baseball action.
