With the four Region 2 teams locked in for the Class C State Amateur Baseball Tournament, Hanska, Courtland, Leavenworth and Lamberton each selected three pitchers from other Region 2 teams in a draft to prep for state on Saturday.

The Hanska Lakers selected Mitchell Bouwman in the first round, Dominic Rose in the second and Connor Jones in the third. The Courtland Cubs selected Mark Schommer, Joe Liebl and Tony Geiger. The Leavenworth Orioles selected Bennett Knapper, Adryen Tietz and Nathan Deutz. The Lamberton Long Sox selected Jack Howard, Adam Sellner and Casey Lux.

The state tournament begins Aug. 15 in Brownton, Hutchinson, Gaylord and Glencoe.
