LUVERNE — Sleepy Eye Junior Legion came back to win 4-3 over Luverne Junior Legion in the elimination bracket of the Southwest Sub-State Junior Legion Baseball Tournament on Tuesday.

Sleepy Eye was down 3-0 after five innings but scored two runs in the sixth and two runs in the seventh, with Carson Uecker’s single scoring Gavin Fischer and Derrick Wales to walk it off for Post 7.

Landry Folkens was the winning pitcher for Sleepy Eye, striking out two while allowing three runs, one earned, on five hits in a complete game. At the plate, Adam Braulick was 3 for 4, while Uecker had a hit and two RBIs. Chase Zufall had a hit and an RBI, and Jacob Fulmer and Wales had a hit and a run scored each.

Sleepy Eye advances to play Windom at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
