U12, U10 Softball place in state tournaments

Submitted photo/information New Ulm 10U Vipers Voges team took on the 10U State Softball Tournament in Lexington this past weekend. They started Saturday morning playing Bloomington 10C White and winning 12-1. Next game they went up against Farmington 10B Black, winning 5-2. Their last game on Saturday, they played Prescott 10C Romens and won 7-0. Prescott came back Sunday morning to play New Ulm Vipers Loose team, and after a long 12 inning game that took two hours, the New Ulm Vipers Voges team won 7-4. Their next game was against Andover 10B Halverson who was also undefeated. The New Ulm Vipers Voges team won 9-2, which put them in the championship game. The New Ulm 12U Vipers Berdan team took second place at the state 12U tournament in St. Peter on July 12-13, 2025. New Ulm went 4-2 for the weekend. It defeated JWP 7-3, Woodbury 12-0 and Rochester 7-4. Sunday it fell short to St. Peter 2-7, moving on to face JWP again and winning 4-3. It then moved on to the championship game facing St. Peter again and fell short, and taking second for the weekend. The New Ulm Vipers 12U Berdan team finished their season 30-6.
