Strei, Buegler bros lead 2025 All-Journal Boys Golf
Owen Strei, Sr.,
Cathedral
The Tomahawk-Valley Conference Champion and the Section 2A Champion, Strei put in a nine-hole average of 38.4 this season, a 2.6-stroke improvement from a season ago. Strei qualified for the Class A State Tournament, where he tied for 15th in his senior season.
Jaxon Buegler, Sr.,
New Ulm
In his lone season with the Eagles golf team, Buegler excelled, finishing as the Section 3AA medalist and averaging 38.9 per nine holes. Buegler qualified for the Class AA State Tournament, where he placed 54th.
Mason Buegler, So.,
New Ulm
Buegler tied his brother, Jaxon, for the team lead in nine-hole average with a 38.9 and also made the trip with him to the Class AA State Tournament, where he placed 40th in his first trip in his sophomore year.
Nolan Kucera, 8th,
SEU
Just an eighth-grader, Kucera had the lowest nine-hole average on the team, averaging 39.8 strokes. Kucera finished fourth in the Tomahawk-Valley Conference Tournament, was an All-Conference golfer, and made a trip to the state tournament, where he placed 36th.
Blaine Arneson, So., SEU
Arneson finished second in the Tomahawk-Valley Conference Tournament this season as a sophomore while averaging 41.6 strokes per nine holes. Arneson helped lead SEU to a state tournament appearance, where he placed 61st.
Braiden Davis, Sr., Springfield
A Class A State Tournament entrant this year, placing 58th, Davis took third at sections and led Springfield this year with a 42.4 nine-hole average.
