ST. PAUL — The 2025 UMAC Indoor Track and Field All-Conference Team was officially announced on Thursday, and MLC had eight student-athletes on the men’s team with honors. All-Conference accolades are based on performance results from the UMAC Indoor Championships held last weekend in Superior, Wisconsin.

MLC finished second (184 points) as a team behind the host school UW-Superior (242 points), and the following men shown below played a big part in that result.

Arthur Robinson was the Co-Top Scoring Athlete of the meet after racking up six top-four finishes, including a first-place result in the 4×200 meter relay, which saw the Knights break a UMAC Indoor Championship record time of 1:30.95. Lucas Holtz, Matthew Hillmer, and Stephen Wietzke were the other legs of the relay race and earned All-UMAC honors because of it.

Robinson’s other notable finishes was taking second in both the 200m (22.72 seconds) and 400m dash (51.73 seconds, PR) while placing third in the long jump (6.40 meters) and in the triple jump (13.12 meters). The freshman also took fourth in the 60-meter dash with a mark of 7.23 seconds.

Samuel Plocher won the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.50 seconds and took second in the high jump (1.88 meters) to give him the nod for the All-UMAC team. Meanwhile, Jeremiah Stanton placed first in the triple jump (13.34 meters), and Daniel Ertman came in first in the 400-meter dash, clocking in with a PR time of 51.17 seconds to garner All-Conference achievements.

The eighth MLC individual named to the team was R.J. Perry, who threw 14.08 meters to put him in second in the shot put.

Micah Schibbelhut was picked to be the MLC men’s representative of the All-Sportsmanship team. The MLC women did not get any individuals selected to the All-UMAC team, but Naomi Foley was the MLC women’s member named to the All-Sportsmanship team.
