WATERVILLE — The 10th-seeded Sibley East girls basketball team’s season came to a close Monday night with a 60-40 loss to seventh-seeded Waterville-Elysian-Morristown in the Section 2AA Girls Basketball Tournament.

The Wolverines were led in the loss by Kate Arneson’s 16 points and five rebounds. Olivia Halquist and Mahrlie Lundgren each had a team-high six rebounds also for Sibley East, which finishes its season 10-16 overall.
