Four MLC women’s soccer players named to All-UMAC team

ST. PAUL — The 2024 All-Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Awards were announced today by the conference, and four Martin Luther College players were named to an All-Conference team.
Katie Schoeneck earned Second Team All-Conference honors after leading the Knights in goals (11), points (24), and shots on goal (34) in 19 games played as a sophomore. Schoeneck was previously named to the All-UMAC Second Team as a freshman a season ago.
Joining Schoeneck on the Second Team was Ella Ristow. The freshman defender helped preserve goals all season long in the back end for the MLC squad.
Rachel Schoeneck was voted Honorable Mention for the second consecutive season as a junior, scoring three goals and finishing with a team-best 4 assists.
There was another freshman named to an All-Conference team as Maria Vik received Honorable Mention honors in her freshman season. Vik recorded 184 saves, which puts her second in single-season saves at MLC and finished with a .780 save percentage in 19 games played.
Additionally, the Knights won the Team Sportsmanship Award and Ava Beilman was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team representing MLC.
