JANESVILLE — Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton held off Nicollet 6-4 on Friday in a nonconference softball game.

Zoie Rengstorf was 3 for 3 with two runs scored to lead Nicollet at the plate, while Cason Forbrook was 2 for 4 with two RBIs and Leah Bode was 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI.

Bode also pitched all seven innings, allowing three earned runs on seven hits and eight walks while striking out 10.

Nicollet (5-8) travels to Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial for a Valley Conference game at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
