B&L Tournament wraps up on Monday

NEW ULM — The team of Ryan Dorn, Nick Metzker, Ron Schmitz, Duane Ristau and Chad Cooreman took first place with a score of 124 during Monday’s B&L Classic at the New Ulm Country Club.

All teams had to deal with the weather, which was hot and humid.

There was a tie for second place as the team of Jeff Ferrell, Brad Wieland, Randy Wiltscheck, Doug Bode and Josh Sabatino tied with Jackson Ahlness, Jerry Boddy, Chris Bollingmo, Adam Slander and Jay Longhenry with a score of 128.

Two teams also tied at 129. They included the team of Andrew Pettis, Tim Berg, Rick Huke, Joe Slander and Gary Krugel, along with the team of Dan Reinhart, Terry Steinbach, Kyle Duxbury, Paul Roberts and Bob Fisch.

There was a three-way tie for sixth with a score of 132 was the team of Randy Paa, Jim Babel, Cody Berkner, John Reiger and Mitch More and also the team of Tom Steinbach, Mike Krueger, Tom Jensen, Jon Hunstad and David Bendix. Randy Kirchberg, Dean Warta, Randy Voth, Bruce Hendrycks and Nick Peterson also shot a 132.

Dave Brown, Jeffrey Lang, Bruce Gieseke, Nick Taralson and Mark Newman tied for ninth at 133 with Eldy Jones, Bob Skillings, Don Olson, Tony Sowder and Jeff Schone.
