NEW ULM — The New Ulm Brewers aren’t intending to get rusty by resting a week before their opening state baseball tournament game on August 25.

After becoming Region 2C champs and drawing a first-round bye in the state tournament, the Brewers will now host Fairmont at Mueller Park in an exhibition game at 7 p.m. on Monday night.

For those still interested in traveling to Maple Lake to see the Brewers in state tournament action, tickets are still available for the fan bus that will be taking off from Mueller Park at 11 a.m. on August 25. The game is at 1:30 p.m. and the bus will head back home to Mueller Park shortly after the game concludes. Tickets can be purchased for $15 per person at the New Ulm Chamber of Commerce.
