• Last Thursday, Feder placed third at the Section 2A girls’ cross-country meet in 19:21.

• In just her second season of cross-country, Feder will compete at the state meet this Saturday in Northfield.

Feder ran a 19:21 at the Section 2A meet for the fastest time school history for 5,000 meters and her third-place finish in a field of nearly 140 runners is the highest finish in school history.

“Grace is a light, efficient runner who has found another gear this season and her goal is to earn All-State honors this weekend at St. Olaf College in Northfield,” GFW cross-country coach Mark Leitheiser said.
