To the editor: In my opinion it’s “more German” not to sell Garden Terrace. Maintain the earlier intent — we know the local history. Gentrification’s unneeded in our neighborhood. To the editor: Frequent writer Keith Klawitter asks why there is a disconnect by farmers from the DFL (Democratic/Farmer/Laborer) party. The simple answer is the Democrat party has left the farmer behind long ago. In fact, I think the “DFL” is only used by Minnesota Democrats. Farmers generally have a good understanding of common sense, biology, and are people of good faith. The Minnesota DFL seems to struggle with these concepts. To the editor: We wish to publicly congratulate each of the area law enforcement members who were recently awarded medals for their capture of an Iowa man in 2023, suspected of the tragic murder of an Iowa police officer. This award reminded us that any given day could be a matter of life or death for them. None of them are guilty of stolen valor with this award.
