The system isn’t broken
To the editor:
With all of the vital questions and concerns our legislators have to address, State Rep. Paul Torkelson, R-Hanska, has proposed a way to prevent further ties – smaller number of representatives. How about spending your time – actually OUR time, since we pay you – talking across the aisle? How about not having an aisle? How about working together to solve real issues? How about thinking about your constituents instead of your political leaders? The system isn’t broken. The current mindset is broken.
