To the editor:

On Tuesday we experienced an emergency situation in the Walmart parking lot. We needed to pick up prescriptions at the pharmacy. Upon returning to our car this incident happened. Almost immediately several kind people came to us to be of aid. They brought blankets, called 911 and some stayed with us until the ambulance arrived. They wrapped blankets around Lorraine to keep her warm. We didn’t get the names of those who helped so we are taking this means to thank them hoping that they will see this. We also want to thank Walmart and the New Ulm Medial Center E.R. for their part in helping in this situation. She was treated and released the same day and is home recuperating. Despite the weather conditions people responded so quickly. May God bless each one of you.
