To the editor:

The Cathedral Greyhounds Football team has one more tough game before they can bring home a Section Trophy, but in our minds, they brought home a victory that needs no trophy this past Saturday afternoon. The Greyhounds faced a team that committed over 9 personal fouls on the field without any opponents being removed from the game. They did not retaliate and stayed disciplined throughout the game. Kudos to Denny Lux and his coaches for keeping the kids focused on the goal.

Cathedral Football is a family who prays together before and after every game. They use their God-given talents on the field to give Him glory, and they walk off the field “win or lose” with their heads held high because they play their best. Thank you, men, for making us proud.
