Brown County Browser: Primary two weeks away

Just two weeks and the Primary Election will be behind us and we will be working feverishly to prepare for the November General Election. Those voters who have opted to vote in the Primary from the safety of their homes are encouraged to return their ballots as soon as possible to ensure that we receive them by Election Day. A secure drop box has been installed in the lobby of the Law Enforcement Center for your convenience. Please do not use the drop box in the parking lot to drop off ballots. Postage has been applied to all return envelopes if you choose postal delivery.

For voters who will be making their way to the precincts on Election Day, know that we are incorporating safety procedures to protect you as well as the poll workers. Masks will be required for all poll workers and voters as directed by the Governor. Election Judges will be trained in sanitation procedures within the polling place as well. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on August 11, 2020.

Always know that Absentee ballots can be obtained at the Auditor-Treasurer’s office daily from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The State requires the office to be available to voters on Saturday, August 8th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. as well.

We encourage all eligible voters to go to the polls on Election Day and cast a ballot!
